In the battle, both her adoptive mother and who she knew as her father were killed. Once she had gained her warrior name, Mistyeye, the old medicine cat got really sick and in her last moments she revealed to Whiteriver who her real father is. After a bit of time, she convinced Bravepelt and herself to go and look for him. Will she find him? Is it everything she was hoping for?
