Don't Forget To Remember Me

When you fall in love with someone, it could be really sudden.. It could take a little while.... When it happened to me, it was rather all of the sudden. I didn't see it coming - though everyone else said they did. I fell in love with my very best friend. It's so cliche, I know. But I did. I truly did fall in love with my best friend. The thing is, it's not like I met him in high school, and we became friends, and it went from there. Nah, this kid.. I've known this kid my whole life. He was two years old when I was born. His mom, and my mom, along with our fathers - all of our parents were best friends. It was their own little group. Well, of course, they were still best friends when I was born. He and I being best friends, well, it was kind of inevitable. We grew up together, from playing in the sandbox, to playing tag on the playground. We survived through the horrible lunch time drama in middle school, and crazy, emotional, hormone driven kids in junior high. Then, we got to high school. That's where our story began. He was a senior when I was a sophomore.
