Alicia Chang is accepted to an elite university - which she anticipates as a ticket out of her small-town hell. She is so done with high school and with her over-controlling parents. Alicia, also a 'recovered' eating disorder patient, prides herself in her elaborate scheme to dive headfirst back into her illness.
