Plus - Add Music to Emotion
This is a concept I came up with one night when I was driving home and listening to Ed Sheeran's album Plus. I thought about how it would be cool to use one or two lines from a song that he wrote in a letter to a person that I wrote. As soon as I got home, I sat down with my laptop and started writing the first two letters. I picked one line that I liked from each song and wrote a letter based on the emotion of that line, not necessarily on the topic of the whole song. Some of the letters are autobiographical, some are pure fiction. I'm almost done with the album and I'm currently thinking about doing the same thing with Multiply. One Micro Fiction Story each Day [complete]
I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. (by the way, it's not complete but I marked it like that because the chapters don't compliment one-another, so each story is basically done by the time I publish it) -Lilly RoseComplete
