"Curiosity killed the cat" is Ace Segnise's favorite phrase. He's curious to know about his real parents, about his past, and the meaning of the number on his wrist. 

    Because of his curiosity he discovered something important and dangerous, he discovered a secret. 

    When he's swept away to an incredible school called GENESIS his eyes are opened to a whole new world. 

    At first GENESIS seemed like an extraordinary place, but as Ace starts to accidentally uncover lost secrets and the horrible truth about the once great school he begins to learn one thing: That at GENESIS, secrets are meant to be revealed.

But to their misfortune they find out ....."Eclipse" is still very much alive. Now with only a week to survive they try to escape by playing a game. As time almost ends Honor questions the idea of leaving and living. If he leaves something bad happens but if he stays their is a strong possibility that he will die knowing the whole "Truth". Sure curiosity killed the cat...but satisfaction brought it back.
