"She needed desperately someone by her side, someone who won't leave her alone, someone who could love her. So she trusted the world again, but that was the biggest mistake of her life. "I won't let people ever get closed to me again," she said." Saylor Marie is a normal teenage dancer, right? Wrong. Saylor is a depressed self harmer. She also suffers from anorexia. She has a horrible past & deals with bullying everday... even from her best friend/brother, Tyler. & just when Saylor reaches her breaking point & makes a huge decision, Drake, the new kid at school, comes along & changes her life. "Try to imagine jumping off of the edge of a very tall building. Just floating, flying, weightless. Those seconds would feel like minutes, & you'd be completely at peace. I often find myself wondering if that feeling would be worth hitting the ground at the end." Drake is a seventeen year old guy who has been struggling all his life. His father left his mother, his younger sister, Taylor, & Drake when he was only five. Drake struggles with self harm & depression as well as bullying & the pressure of everything else. When his mom gets a new job, him & his family are forced to move to Los Angeles, California. At his new school, he meets a girl by the name of Saylor Marie who just happens to do something very special for Drake.

In a world of seven billion people, RC feels alone. In a world of so much diversity, RC feels out of place. In a world of strength, RC feels like a weak link. In short, RC is not okay. Despite what anyone says, she just is not. In fact, she is the complete opposite of okay. She is hurting. She is hurting in silence so loud, it screamed across the street and woke Jordan, the school's hot mess. Like seriously hot. And seriously messed up. Like hot-bad-boy messed up. And in a lonely world of seven billion people, he is the only one who can show RC that beneath all her depression, self hurt and silent anguish, RC is a warrior of drastic proportions. Loosely based on a true story. Inspired by @ThePsychoMadHatter Dedicated to @Khifanurani
