A young hippie named Timber Everglade has to learn the hardships of being separated from modern society. Only going to town ever so often presents a small look on the kind of life she's missing out on though some of what she gets a look into isn't at all what she would want ,she's still curious. She meets a young man in town one day and they become extremely close. Could he be a possible love interest? How will the others feel about an outsider becoming a possible member of their community? If the decision presents itself , will Timber remain a member of her commune or will she start anew in an unfamiliar culture?
