Small town girl, Boston Rove, is friends with a guy named Aaron Cline after she stumbled onto his number after she mistyped her best friends', Rachel's, number into her new iPhone. Aaron and Boston have been texting for a year now, but Aaron lives in California and Boston lives in Arizona. Boston is sure she's in love with him even though she wouldn't say it out loud when big, bad Samuel Sexton.

Boston tries to avoid Samuel knowing he's trouble, but she's always bumping into him and Aaron is making himself scarce. Boston turns to Samuel for advise and ends up under him. Boston let's Samuel help her forget about Aaron when suddenly Aaron is in town and not happy about Boston and Samuel being so close

Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me. "Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?" "You know who." "Was it... about me?" "What would you say if it was?" I cocked my head to the side, our eyes staying connected with each other. "I wouldn't say." he moved closer to me, towering over by the slightest bit as his breath surrounded my every nerve. She went through something traumatic at only 14, but no one noticed. She moved to Roseville for a fresh start with her best friend Kaitlyn by her side. But Carter notices. He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's cliché) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other. You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate. Will these two step over the line? But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed.
