Alex Clark is not like most fourteen year-olds. Alex is what you would consider an...alien. His home planet Dastrien was taken over by the Reims, enemy aliens that are out for revenge and will destroy anything in their paths. Both his parents were killed in the war leaving only Miles, his protector, to take care of him. What makes Alex so unique is the powers that he possesses. Powers that no one of his kind has ever heard of. Powers unlike anything anyone has ever seen. And the Riems want him because of it. Alex has been hiding from them his entire life, but will he throw all of his purpose away when he meets Claire Davis, the only girl that he dared to love, knowing of all the obstacles that come with wanting to love like a real live boy?
