While Reed travels to Egypt on business, trying to help an old friend, he's tricked into helping the government capture an old nemesis.
While Ayah is left at school, finally with friends and a love life, one spiteful girl manages to ruin it all, in the space of a few weeks.
A new teacher arrives, to fill Reed's vacancy and instantly makes Ayah's life miserable. Kelly, her own boyfriend's brother, crawls out of the woodwork in desperation, and makes an attempt on her life. Then her father surfaces and creates the ultimate Summer Disaster: he introduces her to her new fiance!
Can Reed return from Egypt in time to rescue her? Or will Ayah have to suffer a fate worse than she could ever imagine...having to marry someone she doesn't know?

Jennifer Shore is four months away from her wedding when she opens the door to find two policemen bearing news that will completely tear down the life she's built. Her fiancé, Al Stefford, has been killed in an explosion in the school where he teaches. In case that isn't tragic enough, Al has been named the prime suspect in the bombing. He might have been her gentle Al, but to the world he is a Muslim terrorist with an Iranian father. As her job gives her an indefinite "leave of absence," as the FBI investigates Al and everyone around him, and as Jen herself becomes the focus of every media outlet in the country, Jennifer's world is deconstructed and reassembled into a completely unfamiliar routine. Her mother, a proud Jewish woman, had all but disowned her when Al engaged; now she becomes her main pillar of support. Her sister, a distant and successful lawyer-slash-mother of two, puts together a lawsuit for Jen against everyone defaming Al. Her friends all leave her, except for one, who becomes her constant ally in this struggle that is her life. Jennifer's life is consumed by the absence of Al and everything that entails, when she discovers the next disruption in her world: She is pregnant. Her emotions raw and erratic, Jen relents to her mother's suggestions that she join a support group. With their help, and with the strength she begins to draw from her mother, her friend, and finally herself, Jennifer discovers that she might actually be able to live a life that is whole even as it is broken.

The Flip Side Of Strangers🌻 Summer Grace and Elijah Fraser have spent their entire lives living parallel lives, their homes sharing a fence line, yet their emotions separated by a rift of dislike. Growing up, they navigated the complexities of childhood, teenage years, and high school, always aware of the other's presence, yet never truly connecting. As children, Summer's attempts at friendship were met with Elijah's indifference. His unconcerned puzzled her, and she eventually gave up, focusing on her own circle of friends. Years passed, and their mutual dislike deepened, fueled by unspoken tensions and misunderstandings. Now, as they stand on the threshold of adulthood, Summer and Elijah must confront the reality of their intertwined lives. Their social circles overlap, and their paths consistently cross, forcing them to reevaluate their long-standing feud. Summer, determined and fiercely loyal, has always protected those she cares about. Her closest friends, Jace and Emilia and her sister Avery, provide a support system, but even they can't fully understand her complicated history with Elijah. As she navigates post-grad life, Summer begins to question her own emotions and motivations. Elijah, enigmatic and guarded, has built walls around himself. His few close relationships, including his best friend Noah, are carefully curated. Summer's presence in his life is a constant reminder of his own vulnerabilities, and he struggles to reconcile his feelings. When Emilia starts dating Noah, Summer and Elijah are drawn into each other's orbits. The tension between them becomes increasingly fraught, as they're forced to confront the lingering emotions they've long suppressed. As they transition into adulthood, Summer and Elijah must navigate love, loss, and self-discovery. Will their animosity ignite a passion that neither anticipated, or will their neighboring hearts remain forever divided?
