Set in Victorian England, when witchcraft and heresy were followed by means of execution, the story follows the life of a young witch who finds herself in the middle of numerous intrigues concerning an arranged marriage with a noble she'd rather have no relation to, a man, who isn't exactly who he shows himself to be, contracted to a demon who wants to steal her soul, and a father with a secret on his own.
Not to mention, she is surrounded by two spirits as well - a ghost with a connection to her deceased mother and a demon of her own whom she is in love with.
Will she be able to stay on the right track before her secrets lead her towards her end?
