Makoto has been the third seat of Squad 10 since Toshiro became Captain, about 20 years ago. But being the 3rd seat didn't mean much, apparently. Makoto wasn't able to become much of importance in the battle against Aizen in fake Karaura Town, or even in Hueco Mundo. All Makoto wants is something exciting to happen to her.
Makoto gets more than she bargained for when suddenly she's accused of crimes she didn't do, and is forced on the run from the soul reapers so she won't be executed. The thing is, she gets help from the last person she expects to get any help from.

Note: This doesn't follow any of the Bleach events or arcs, for several reasons. There will be cursing every so often.
