It's November 2015 and Sam, a 20 year old student in London, lives a seemingly normal life with a best friend, a stupid ex and hard exams. A fun weekend trip with friends turns into a trip to the past when Sam stumbles onto a stone formation and one solar eclipse later she wakes up in the Victorian era.
She meets Cole; a dark man with a dark past and Sam is inevitably drawn into a secret war which pushes her to the limit regarding both strength and love as she is forced to marry a wanted man. There is however a much greater battle raging within her as she falls more and more deeply in love with her husband. Can she return home? Does she want to go home?

This is Victoria's first written novel, but one that has been developing over the years. Victoria has loved learning about the wonders of history, and how it has led us to where we are today. But there are always people who bring up "if-istory", which led Victoria to think about what could have happened if we had the power to not change the past but change another timeline's past. What would happen then? Including her love for the character Loki and his mischievous ways, Victoria has included Tom and some of his roguish character into her storyline of this futuristic historical novel.

My whole life is 'have to.' I have to work full-time to pay the bills and keep food on the table. I have to finish college for a chance at a better job, no matter how long it takes.
