The story begins in high school where the 17 -year-old Simon plays in the basketball team , along with his two best friends Thomas Miller and Peter Tunnick . Together with his girlfriend Fay Clark , is he one of the popular kids at school. He has been one year together with Fay until he sees the new girl where he madly fell in love with and what appears to be the youngest sister of his best friend Peter Tunnick .
