Ebele's Summer of Self, Sacrifice, and Second Chances

Ebele, an overweight teen struggles to find confidence in a town where the color of her skin already defines who she is. She makes a list of goals to accomplish by the end of summer in hopes to return to school as a new person. Along her journey she finds support in her older sister, who is back from college over the summer break. Ebele develops unlikely friendships, overcomes difficult circumstances , and experiences the "perfect" romance. This story is about acceptance, friendship, love, and strength.
