At first no one cares, because after the operation it'll be like she's dead. She won't have any independent thoughts, feelings or memories. No poor person has ever not become Braindead after the operation and once she's Braindead, she can't cause trouble. But what the rich don't know is their operation isn't as reliable as they thought.
