An asteriod hit Earth.
It set off all volcanoes at the same time.
Floods came out of nowhere.
Earthquakes hit in places with no techtonic plates.
Medicines depleted and disease ruled.
Hurricanes and tornados raged.
Humans died off one by one.
There are small groups of suvivors living throughout the world.
They barely survive each day.
They teach their children to adapt.
The Earth, and its people have changed.

Regan Mitchells's parents were killed during the desctruction. She was left to die. She was five then. Now, ten years later, she is leading the American survivors to the North Pole. There, they will hopefully meet up with other survivors from the world and rebuild civilization. What stands in her way? What tests will she be given?
