This story takes places one year after the Barden Bellas win the ICCA's (one year after Pitch Perfect 1). Jesse and Beca spend the summer together, Aubrey has already graduated and Chloe is also supposed to, but when the Bellas return to begin their second year at Barden, they take a surprise meeting the ginger. Why Chloe hasn't graduated if everything was going well? Why is Beca starting doubting about her relationship with Jesse? Will the Bellas be able to win the acapella national championship again? Below, the story of how Pitch Perfect 2 should have been.

Beca agrees to help Chloe with her music assignment and the two quickly fall for each other, giving Chloe the rest of the inspiration she needs for her assignment. However, something happens between the two girls, which causes Chloe to stop seeing Beca.
