It was a mistake. Really. When a gorgeous dark skinned girl appeared at her doorstep, Lauren was not only a bit scared, but curious. It wasn’t Friday. The maids weren’t due for another day, and the grocers weren’t coming for two more- the sound of the rarely used buzzer startled the green eyed girl who had been gazing at the city skyline for who knows how many hours. She lost track of time. It took her two minutes to gather herself and open the door- she wasn’t expecting anyone. Camila never used the buzzer- she had a key. Camila would be back in two hours. So, when the door creaked as she opened it- she would have to fix that- and a strange girl made a horrified face and embarrassedly explained her mistake- just one door to the left too far, of course her starving artist, small time choreographer best friend wouldn’t possibly be living in one of the corner luxury lofts- Lauren wasn’t listening. It was static in her ears. She was too busy staring at the other girl, wide eyed. She was beautiful.
