Alongside his demon butler Sebastian Michaelis, Ciel Phantomhive begins to investigate a case the Scotland Yard had been working to solve, involving a chain of murders by drowning of people who have previously worked for Ciel's company. Although Sebastian is a demon and is incapable of feelings Ciel feels himself becoming more and more attached to the demon as the days go by.
