Prolouge II: TheProphet's Tome
Part 1: The Prophecy
I
The ancient scriptures of a thousand words,
Can fill a book with a hundred worlds,
Those who seek shall never find,
Things eternal can rupture one's mind.
II
Balance defines the word which is peace,
The bonds we share, our lives a bliss.
Love accords a person or two,
But pain takes it all and that is true.
III
Things of value, all made of gold,
Can corrupt one's spirit, their soul be sold.
Greed will consume one's body and soul,
Their mind will break, their heart will molt.
IV
Chaos will come to raze our peace,
Tides will rise, life will cease.
All divides, as the shadow overwhelms,
The power will spread, the fall of realms.
V
Evil will reign, crowned eternal.
Destroyer of paths, leaving roads of fractal.
Screams of pain seeping through the bones,
Here I say the crumbling of thrones.
VI
Out of this havoc a hero will rise,
Bourne of pain, strengthened by demise.
Blood of holy, he is heaven's descent.
Devout Devoir, he'll bring the kingdom's ascent.
...
It is the dawn of the first age and the fallen Lords of Heaven are fighting over that newest of creations: mankind.
Only Karux, a young herdsman tormented by horrific dreams of the future, can unite the tribes of men and protect them from the chaos, madness and death the fallen lords bring. To do this, he must first discover the secret names and shapes of magic with only an autistic six-year-old girl to aid him.
Foreseeing his death and the death of the woman he loves, he must overcome betrayal, hold back a growing curse and train a people with no concept of war to fight against an inhuman enemy.

Kingdom of the Stone is part 1 of a 2 part story. It is continued in The Stone King, both of which are complete.
