Most people would probably consider it pure heaven to have Gary Barlow sleeping under their roof for a week. Waking up to Gary singing in the shower in the morning. Listening to Gary humming in the kitchen at breakfast time. Watching Gary’s long slim fingers fly over the keys on your baby grand. To most women - and quite a few men - it sounds too good to be true. Well to be frank, it is. Because in between singing, humming and playing the piano he mopes. He’s grumpy, he’s short tempered and sometimes he even cries. This is the story about what happened when the love of his life left and he was completely lost without her. So lost that he spent almost a week cooped up in our guest room and so lost that he almost drove me insane...

@RANDOM28lol contacted me with a story idea where they asked if they could write the poems in the story. I didn't feel like I could write the story they wanted me to but I asked them to send me one of the poems. The poem inspired me. ❤ So I suggested another concept of the story and they agreed. All the poems in the story are written by the talented @RANDOM28lol. Harry has lost his voice. He has been mute for years. Ever since his family was brutally murdered in their home. He suffers from PTSD and survivor's guilt. Thinking that not allowing himself to talk somehow honor the death of his family. It's a lonely life. He has no one to talk to. Doctors and therapists have given up on him. He writes poems as a way to express how he feels. He also writes at work. Running the gossip section of The Sun is something he despises but he's a journalist and he needs a job. No one tries to talk to him at work either. It's his own fault. But he hates how they go silent and then whisper about him as he enters the newsroom in the mornings. He keeps to himself. Until the new sports journalist catches his eye. Beautiful. Blue eyes. Wonderful smile. To his surprise, the man knows sign language and he's also determined to talk to him. Life as he knows it changes. It's scary. Will he be able to actually overcome his trauma? Those Blue Eyes
"Shh, Baby! Wake up." I hear a familiar voice, "Shh, it's okay now." My eyes heavily open, my vision is blurred. I feel constricted. Hot air blows down my face. Something warm brushes my face as I whine. "No, no, no!" I softly whine. "Shh, it's okay Princess." I feel lips brush against my cheek, "It was just a bad dream." I wipe my eyes with my free hand, looking up to see Evan. His arms are tightly wrapped around me, his body on top of me. He stares at me softly, his hand tenderly on my cheek. "Evan?" I whisper. Evan begins to pat my back, lightly bouncing me. I guess to wake me up. I sniff, the tears keep falling as I lightly whine painfully. Evan kisses me temple, I put my hand on his muscular chest. "Evan?" I say softly, my voice breaking. ~Excerpt~ I look out the window, getting a pretty view of the moon from this insanely high room in the three story house. I stick my head out the window staring at the gentle moon and how it sort of resembled me. Not in an appearance-based way but personality-like. There's one side of the moon, fully illuminated, shown to the whole world, but just one side. There's a whole side that is never seen, and it's left in its lonesome.
