As a culture, we have always dreamed of heros, titling them with names befitting their "abnormalities" such as Spiderman or Wonder Woman. But, what if they weren't a fantasy anymore, but a reality? A startling existence a narrated by a girl with a Gift of her own gives the reader a sense of the struggles she faces against the scientists who created her, the government who wants her only because of her odd abilities, and even her friends who decisions change not only their fate but hers as well.
