Long ago Anna Fitzs' mother had passed away but nobody knew why. From then, Anna has been living with her aunt until she found a strange black fish china figure in the attic. Anna was starting to get skeptical that it was of value to her but for some strange reason, it drew her over every time she held it in her palm , so Anna decided to keep it for a while.

  The fish almost has the exact same appearance as Anna's mother's pet fish before she died. No one really knew what happend to her fish either. The strange figure had started to give Anna the thought of it having strange energy. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over.
