Just after Junior year ended, I thought I'd have the same boring summer you see in movies, just like every year... Little did I know that wasn't true. But, I'm getting ahead of myself... First, I'm Alexandria Dey Dodson, but I'm know as A. Makes things easy. As far as I know, my life is normal. Not flashy fabulous, but not so bad we beg on the streets for crack and cash at night. In life, we do things we regret, or that we wish we could wipe from our memory forever. At the age of 15, I didn't think I'd regret anything until I was an adult. I considered myself care free. I lived life one day at a time. Well, as much as a 15 year old can. But in life, there are also things that we can't change, that we can't forget. Circumstances change, events occur, and life as we know it is altered forever. I always knew i wasn't meant for the heels anyway. When I joined the army, I was young and foolish. You see, there are these apps where anybody can write books, stories and the sort and one day, scrolling the FB (which I don't usually do but I kill time with it on occasions) my eyes fell on a title that made me scoff. The title, 'Mafia in Love'. I remember I laughed terribly then, one of the very few times I laughed, or smiled for that matter. Some people truly feel they know anything about Mafia. It was not far from the truth, though. We are in love. We are in love with money, power, luxury and women. Actually more like to f. women. A lot. At least that's what I love.
