"I've got an offer for you." Aaron Linton, arch nemesis and now my Co-Captain of the football team said.

"I'll give you full captaincy. I'll pull out from the Co-Captaining the football team with you. Bet you'd like that." I froze.

"What's the catch?" I asked warily.

He gave a malicious smile. "You have six months."

"Six months for what?"

"Six months to make her fall in love with you."

"Stop speaking in riddles. Make who fall in love with me?" Not that it'll be difficult.

"Clara Green." He gave a full blown grin.

"And what do I get from it?" I asked.

"If you fail to get her to fall in love with you in five months, then you have to resign as Co-Captain." I mulled it over. Was it worth it? What if she didn't fall for me? Who am I kidding? I'm Max Hunter. Of course she'll fall for me.

"You're on." I smirked, sticking my hand out. He grabbed it and shook, looking pleased with himself.

***

Clara Greene was clumsy. She was funny. She was obsessed with mango smoothies. But one thing she was not was a friend of Max Hunter. In fact I think it's safe to say she couldn't bear him. So why does he think it's okay to keep following her around?

Sure she may have had a little mishap with some peach tea, alcohol and a small window gap, resulting in her leavings certain bad boy's home with his bright pink, tiger striped underwear, but hey. No biggie right?
