“Love is a promise; love is a souvenir, once given, never forgotten, never let it disappear.” – John Lennon.

Lola Hart is your normal, everyday girl, who likes to be friends with everyone, but is truly alone in the outside world. A girl with an attitude who doesn't take no for an answer and always ready for a sarcastic comment to throw in your face like a brick, she's not your typical good girl - that is what people think. She plans to spend the rest of her senior year hoping her childhood best friend, Tyler Woods, will somehow fall in love with her. But there's a problem for her - when Tyler's family decides to move away to be closer to his sick grandmother, Lola can't help but feel completely and utterly helpless. Having to survive senior year without the love of her life is one terrible thing, but when the school's bad boy, Colton Thorne, crosses his path with her, how would it end up? Tall, gorgeous, with a pair of stormy blue eyes, he decides to challenge Lola into what she really deserves - which certainly doesn't involve a certain best friend.
