I don't know how it happened but I wouldn't change a minute of it. It went from a Nando's waitress to Niall's girlfriend. Then Liam's jealous phase and being thrown away like we'd never had anything. I remember, I can count the seconds, when I was alone, sobbing. And he came in, my knight in shining armour, to hold me through the night. He let me cry, confused and hurt, sat quietly and just listened. He let me have my space but he knew when I was in over my head. Saved my life on that ledge. I remember being so dazed, irrational, angry, screaming at him for taking me down.
"I COULD'VE BEEN RID OF THIS PLACE!" Then he kissed me.
His lips were soft and comforting, warm. He cupped my head in his hands softly, stroking my hair with his thumb. He pulled away, but so caught up in the moment I kept my eyes closed. My brow furrowed.
"That doesn't mean anything." I grumbled. "I don't wanna be here anymore."
"Drama queen." He breathed, amused.
"Excuse me prick?!"
"You kissed me back. I win." I gave a distainful sniff and looked away, pouting. "Don't act like you didn't feel anything." I did. My stomach was queasy and every nerve in my body was alight.
"I-I didn't. Don't be stupid..." This time he smothered me. He took me inside, with gentle fingers undressing me. Things haven't been the same since.
***Just because it says it's complete, don't be surprised if I fluff it a bit! Book 2, Let Me Show You What We Had, is now up and on-going.***
