Annabeth Smith lived in Woodbury, a small town protected from the undead. She didn't trust the town's leader, the governor, but she had no other choice too. But, when Annabeth and her best friend, Nathan Bennett, find a group located by a prison, Annabeth decides to make her move and find a new group. Will this group let her in? What will Nathan say? "We can beat this world" is a story about trust, fear, betrayal, and death. Will Annabeth survive this apocalypse, or will she die like the others?
