A myth. That was what was thought about the SnowCrest pack. The legends went on and on about this one pack. But only some are true. The tribe was said to only be Snow White wolves. Arctic wolves if you may. Since no other pack had any werewolves that could shift into a white wolf, they all believed this to be false. Well, that was until the hunters found where they had been hiding. ------------------------------------------------------ Stephanie Lane was the only daughter of Alpha Henry, and Luna Katie, of the SnowCrest Pack. The pack had lived in peace for 12 centuries, gathering and growing in size, well until now. As the hunters attack on the night of October 15th, Stephanie's birthday party. All 346 pack members are there to celebrate 16 years of age. ------------------------------------------------------ I watch helplessly as my mother falls to the ground blood staining her satin dark blue dress. I yelp and run over. My father has shifted and ran towards the attacker. He was a white blue in the air until he landed. Then I hear it, more shots. More directed at innocents in my pack. I can't take it anymore. I get ready to pounce but I feel a hand touch my bare shoulder. Written by: Claire_Happy Cover by: okreese ( go check her out. She amazing!)

"Stop," the beast growled in my ear. The sound vibrated through my entire body. I froze for a heartbeat from pure shock. He lowered his head beside mine, breath warm against my neck. His voice was low, dangerous... fraying at the edges. "Aurora," he said, "if you run from me again, I will chase you. And I will catch you. His hold tightened as if proving the point. "I will always catch you." Tears spilled down my cheeks. "You're scaring me," I whispered, voice shaking. His breath hitched-barely, but enough that I felt it. For a moment, just a moment, the iron in his grip softened. His hand slid from my waist to my wrist, holding firm but no longer crushing. Then his other arm locked around my upper body, strong enough that escape was impossible. "Aurora," he said, his voice rough, "you cannot run from a bond like this." I shook my head violently. "I'm human! I'm not meant for- for you!" His chest rumbled behind me, a low, frustrated sound. "You are meant for me," he said, lips brushing the shell of my ear. "Fate does not make mistakes."
