Anna Booths is a normal 17 year old girl who lives in Los Angeles, California, in one of the richest parts of the city. During the summer, a boy and his family move in next door to her, and she doesn't know what to expect.

Soon, she finds out his name is Cameron Dallas and he's seventeen. And goes to the same high school as her.

In the new school year, all Anna wants to do is get out of L.A. and go to New York to pursue her dream of going to Juilliard so she get on Broadway.

But, will falling in love with the next door neighbor stop her from going after her dreams? Or will she leave everything behind?
