An Italian club fighter, Rocky Balboa, strives to become one of the greatest heavyweight champions from Southpaw. During this time, Rocky gets invited over to a friend's (Paulie Pennino) house to take his sister (Adrian Pennino) out on a date on Thanksgiving. Doing so, Rocky and Adrian fall in love and support each other. Adrain supports Rocky when he is chosen by an opponent (Apollo Creed) to fight him in the ring in Rocky's hometown, Philadelphia. This is a story about a man who goes the distance for love and the glory to win.
