Dawson Porter is a member of the Poseidon clan and already has enough difficulty hiding his family's secrets and being a dragon, but when he meets a member of another clan many things come to light, some not even known to Dawson himself, about his family and the gifts of each clan. As he struggles over his ability to control his visions, he finds himself locked in lifelike situations that leave him questioning whether they're real or just a figment of his imagination. Dawson soon learns he can't hide his true form from everyone and his hand is forced into breaking his family's code to keep the people he holds closest to him. And of course someone starts to develop some chemistry with Dawson, leaving him perplexed and with the decision of whether or not it's what he really wants.

Willow's a Byron and they aren't just your average family. Not just because there are so many of them, but because they have secrets and traditions far outside the norm. Like spending as much time outside as in, and doing everything to keep rumours about any of them from surfacing. But when Willow meets the transfer student, Rune, she finds a kindred spirit. He's just as cynical and just as alone as she is and it isn't long before they become friends. The only problem is that Rune's a rumour magnet and wannabe reporter. With a family curse that's getting harder to hide by the day, Willow finds herself caught between family and friendship.
