Ruri and Uchiha Shisui have been friends for a long time. As long as Ruri could remember, anyway. She saw him almost every day. They were both ninja. He'd graduated from the Academy before her. After Ruri graduated from the Academy, she immediately showed off her headband to Shisui. He congratulated her with a smile. As they got older, Shisui moved through the ranks of the shinobi like he was slicing cake. It proved to be a bit harder for Ruri. She held no ill-will toward her friend though. Now Ruri is a Jonin of the Hidden Leaf at age thirteen. Something she was proud to have accomplished, although it had been earned with blood, sweat, and tears. Often Shisui was there to help her up if she were to ever fall down. Some said he was her backbone. Sorry too those that were reading this.. I've decided to quit writing this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She grew up in a loving household, her mother and father kept her happy and never did anything to harm her.
