Ruri and Uchiha Shisui have been friends for a long time. As long as Ruri could remember, anyway. She saw him almost every day. They were both ninja. He'd graduated from the Academy before her. After Ruri graduated from the Academy, she immediately showed off her headband to Shisui. He congratulated her with a smile. As they got older, Shisui moved through the ranks of the shinobi like he was slicing cake. It proved to be a bit harder for Ruri. She held no ill-will toward her friend though. Now Ruri is a Jonin of the Hidden Leaf at age thirteen. Something she was proud to have accomplished, although it had been earned with blood, sweat, and tears. Often Shisui was there to help her up if she were to ever fall down. Some said he was her backbone. I was falling, falling to my death. The wind, taking my breath as I yelled to my friends for help. "Anha! Risa! H-Help me, please, help me!" They stood looking down on me from the top of the cliff . Their faces changing from normal to bloodied and mangled and back again. They laughed at me. "It should have been you who fell Kyamyi." They said, their faces staying mangled this time. "You did this to us, so now were giving you what you deserve." I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for the inevitable impact with the bottom of the cliff. But what I hit was not the cold stone of the cliff, It was soft, warm dirt. When I opened my eyes I did not see the dark claustrophobic walls of the cliff, but green forest all around. When I lifted my head I could see what looked like a fire in the distance, but I wouldn't find out if it was fire or not, because I woke up. Sasuke looked forward and gasped. A kunai was coming; full speed. "SASUKE!!" Sasuke closed his eyes. He waited for the impact. He opened his eyes to Sakura making eye contact with him. "Sakura...?" The kunai was in her back. She panted in pain. "Sakura...." He couldn't believe she flash stepped in the path of the kunai and him. She collapsed in his arms. He looked where the kunai hit. It hit her lung, that's all he could tell. "Sasuke we should take her to Tsunade!" Naruto called as he lifted her up. "Sakura stay awake with me.." He whispered to her as her eyes started to roll back. Sorry too those that were reading this.. I've decided to quit writing this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She grew up in a loving household, her mother and father kept her happy and never did anything to harm her. She didn't have many friends but hey she didn't mind, after all she was a young naive child. Things changed a few days after Ashanna had turned six years old. (I won't tell you why though :3) Her mother started treating her terribly and so did the other children. Seven years pass and here she is a freshman in highschool. Ashanna grew up to be a very smart child and was able to skip her eighth grade year. You would think people would be proud of her right? Well your wrong. Ever since then she was treated ten times worse. Her bullying turned physical and even the teachers turned the heads. But one day she's given a second chance.. How will she deal with this new life?
