Triton Astarot is a sixteen-year-old boy who has been given the gift of magic. All his life, he wanted to use his talents to slay monsters and become an elementalist - a magic user of the highest title - but that would seem unlikely since only nobles could gain the title, and he was only a commoner
When he entered a knight's challenge, his life then had a quick turn of fate as the knight was actually an instructor at a magic training academy called 'Arcanelock' and was searching for new students to enroll at the academy, so Triton did the obvious choice and accepted the invitation to enroll at the academy.
Now Triton will have to face brutal challenges, which would seem to be harder than he thought as he makes powerful foes and embaks on a quest that'll either save the destruction of the last four kingdoms, or lose his life along with his friends'.

Rising of the Weakest Mage
(Please read first two chapters for info, thank you!) For a long time, elemental magic has been widely known, used, and practiced. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.Complete

[ ] "What do you want to be little boy?" Asuma asked the younger. "I want to be strong. Really strong. I want to be the strongest person alive!" The little boy claimed with glee. His eyes glistered under the moonlight. But Asuma smiled. "That means you would be the last person standing in battle?" The little boy nodded eagerly. His tiny hand shot up in the air as he celebrated his fictional victory. "I would punch and kick anyone who comes my way! Yeah!" He punched his imaginary opponent in order to show his skills to Asuma. Two left punches and a swift kick in the air before laughing innocently. "Do you know what being the last person standing means young one?" Asuma asked him once more while placing his hand on the boys head ruffling his hair. The young boy raised his head and smiled at him showing him an pearly white smile. "Of course! It means that I am the winner!" Asuma bitterly smiled back at him as he watched him chase after a butterfly. A children's innocence was all that gave him hope. "And that everyone around you is dead..."
