The Navy not the Navajo

Rebecca is a journalist. She takes her job very serious and have worked all over the world. She first meet Owen when she was stationed in Afghanistan and he was still with the navy.
Rebecca and Owen butted heads more than a few times over there as Owen felt she needed to be more careful and Rebecca was annoyed with him calling him bossy and repeatedly told him she did not need saving. Still there was a mutural respect and admiration there. Maybe even a crush but both of them were to stubborn to admit to it.
Owen had left suddenly before his tour ended and Rebecca had moved on to cover stories else where.

This story begins a week before the movie starts as Rebecca arrives at the park prepare to write critical story of the the science and genetics behind the park. On her first day there she runs into Owen.
