Now I have to learn to live in this alternate reality, and just maybe piece myself back together again.

Then her grandmother died. This grandmother also left her 5 million dollars, on one condition. She must go visit and stay with an obscure relative in Germany. Easy, right? She had always wanted to travel the world anyways.
And it was simple, until she didn't come back. And now that she has everything is different.
