That was the first rule I broke. 

Of course I didn't mean to see it, I simply awoke early enough to see it set. And it was so bright and so beautiful that I couldn't help myself. I became attached.

15 year old Lydia lives as a night dweller. Yet with time she becomes fascinated in the world of day walkers. 

The only things keeping her from the day walkers is a wall and a set of rules.
