When Harry receives an unusual owl about returning to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry he can't turn down the offer to get a second chance of completing his goal of being an auror.
But Hogwarts is over crowded, many students from Harry's year have returned after the substandard education they received before their OWLS the past year and many new first years have joined so houses are forced to share dorms.
Harry is shocked to see that he and Ron will be sharing a room with none other than Draco Malfoy. But is Draco as bad as he seems or was he just a boy with no choices?

Out of sorts. But she isn't the only one. Draco Malfoy sits at the other end of the Great Hall, by himself, surrounded by the other Slytherins, all avoiding him except for Theo Nott, Blaise Zabini, and Pansy Parkinson. The other death eaters. But Malfoy doesn't seem to notice, too busy staring into nothingness, with grief. Hermione cannot help but stare at the poor boy who everyone hates. Who she hates. But she doesn't feel that way when she's looking at him. All of a sudden she realizes his composure has broken, staring back at her.~ Will she invite in the enemy of her childhood? A year after the war, Hogwarts has been rebuilt and the students have returned, including a temporary 'eighth year' class to make up from the time lost during the war. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy have both returned, though neither is exactly the same after the events of the war. Harry has turned away from his Golden Boy exterior, no longer caring what others think and for the first time, doing what he wants. Draco just wants to move past the events of the war, to get this last year of school over with so he can move on with his life.
