After a brief pause to kick off their shoes, Jason threw the ball to Reece who padded it from hand to hand for a second before he turned to face the two girls.
"So, Sierra, have you ever played American touch-football before?"
"Nope, but I know what it is. I'm a bit fuzzy on the rules, but I'm pretty good at handling balls..." Sierra replied with a mischievous sparkle in her eyes, and a deliberate emphasis on the last word to let the guys know that she'd meant it to have some flirtatious innuendo. 
Reece choked with surprise and Jason seemed to freeze in place. She could have sworn that Michael's skin actually changed colour. All three men seemed completely caught off guard by her choice of words.
Sara burst out laughing and leaned on Sierra for support as though her legs might give out from under her if she couldn't contain her mirth soon. 
"Oh my word, that was priceless! I think you're my new best friend!" she remarked, wiping moisture from her eyes between convulsions of laughter.

Sierra smiled to herself and let the darkness consume her, content with the knowledge that she'd just transformed into the same thing. "Well shit, that's different..." Adele remarked at length, effectively breaking the silence. --------------- A new job is usually a lot to deal with.
