Tyler realized he was gay when he was only 4 years old. However, his parents have taught him that you will burn in hell if you're gay since he was born. Nobody knows except for Scott, the only openly gay high school football player in the small city of Campton, Michigan. Scott's parents, however, are also homophobic and kicked Scott out at the age of 13 when he came out to them. Scott lives alone in a shitty motel room in the middle of Campton. Every night Scott and Tyler meet at the motel after sunset and hang out.
