Romance
My name is Catrin. I have bright blonde hair but it only goes to the bottom of my neck. I wear a black headband to keep my annoying fringe out of my eyes. Sometimes red. Yes. I know. The most cliché hairstyle ever. But I like it a lot and I think that it suits me. So I'm sticking with it. I have dark blue eyes with, if you look hard enough, an even darker blue rim around the edges. This is my story. And my story begins on my first day of school. My name is Embry. But everyone usually calls me Em, I don't really like people calling me Embry. I don't think it sounds right. I have long, dark hair, that goes down to the top of my legs. But I usually have it up in a pony-tail or a bun. Unlike my hair, my eyes are grey. Which sounds really horrible, but they look like a really light blue from a distance. Anyway, my name is Em and this is my story.

*Rejected at First Sight* Spin-off series (By GirlWhoChasesRainbow) 🌶 "Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hits a wall. I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people in this place. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.
