Eleanor Thatcher was a fairly average high school girl. She had few friends, good grades and had to deal with bully Avelina Rose and her cronies. Cody Preston was a nice, strong and caring boy who had taken care of Eleanor since they were children. He protected her from bullies, he made her life better. They were best friends. Cody goes away for a year and comes back as a totally different person. He's no longer the loyal best friend Eleanor thought he was; he was a player who flew up the ranks in the school hierarchy and left her behind. To make matters worse, he enters a relationship with the school's Queen Bee and Eleanor's personal bully, Avelina Rose. When nothing works out, how do you redeem yourself and get your life back on track? Do you fight back, or do you sit down and watch the damage happen? It's time to take a stand.
