Meet 9 year old Sarah Nicoletta Rosalie, Crown Princess of Austria. But when tragedy strikes, Sarah is sent to the United States under a false identity, to live with her aunt and uncle until it is safe to return.

7 years later, Sarah is told to go back to Austria to take her rightful place as Queen of Austria and to wed a Hollywood heartthrob that she cares nothing about. But the country is in desperate need of their Queen and the only way she can get to be their Queen is to marry this blob of a boy. But will she actually begin to fall in love with him, despite the fact that they have almost nothing in common?
