Like most people I had always thought it would be the coolest thing to save the world.
Then when I was given that responsibility I freaked out and ran,(great decision, I know...) I was found after almost being killed by a black...a shadow monster of sorts....
It was time to save the world, I just needed that little push to do it.

He coos, his breath fanning my neck, causing me to shiver In disgust. If only my brothers were here... "Wheres a delicacy like you been hiding this whole time?" His use of words has me on edge. His implementations imply that he's some sort of cannibal and judging from what he did to that other man I fear I may be right. I refuse to answer him, spitting in his face. My face bounces of the wall, the sting of his slap left behind on my cheek. I shake the pain away, placing a facade up to hide the fear within. You fucking bastard! I narrow my eyes at him, taking note of his features in case I miraculously survive this encounter. His hair is a dark auburn and his eyes that watch me with amusement are a dark blue. His attire was a black suit which seemed out of place considering he was standing in an alleyway. If I manage to escape I want to be confident that'd I'd be able to have this bastard put behind bars. Again if... His eyes shift, my eyes widening as his eyes turn from a dark blue to a pool of black, red veins trailing along from his pupil to the edge of his eyes. His voice is dark as he commands, "Show me that pretty little neck of yours." ೋღ🌹ღೋ ⚠️ Warning!!! This book is extremely dark and has depictions of Mature language, violence, sexual activity, sexual and physical abuse, including rape. Rape is a serious crime often overlooked where the victim is made to believe it is their fault. I do not condone rape however, it's a reality. Please only read if your 18+ and with caution. ranked #49 in hiding I was suddenly just so angry that I was living in fear of this kind of attack. Why? Because we were different. Because we weren't human, and we didn't live in the darkness, and so we were attacked from both sides, always having to look for an escape route. So I snapped, and instead of running towards the door like I knew I should have, I threw a punch that was supposed to land in his rib cage, hopefully breaking a few and causing enough internal damage that he would be down for a while. But that didn't happen, because once that punch was thrown my attacker grabbed my wrist and threw me against the wall and stabbed me with a stake that ripped right through my red skull kitty tank top and cut into the flesh that covered my heart. That was when I heard the slow chuckle and that annoying voice I knew all too well say, "Not bad, but you're still dead."Complete

We often dream about living in a world far different from our own. It's nice to dream about it, after all reality is disappointing. To dream of having magic, being able to soar with dragons in a beautiful green forest. But that's all it is right? A dream.... Yeah. But not for me. Wasn't I dead?
You'd thinking dying in the hospital due to a terminal illness would mean the end of the story. Not for me though. After having months to come to terms with my incoming death I was pretty prepared for the end. To bad after dying I woke up back up a week later in my grave. Now I'm alive again (sorta). To make matters worst apparently my existence is illegal as hell according to supernatural law. Now I got a pissed off supernatural council mad at me for just existing! Lucky for me it turns out I unknowingly made a quite a few super natural friends while I was human . All willing to help and vouch for me. But this transition is a rough one and it turns out I may more powerful than I should be.

Hoping to shake this human off once and for all, I twisted my body around rapidly with a plan to put my words into action. When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire.
