"A cupcake won't save you now, Princess."

His smirk filled me with anger and adrenaline, allowing me to grab the cupcake to my right.

"You know, I think you need to sweeten up a bit."

With that, I smashed a glittery pumpkin Oreo cupcake into his sneering face.

Maggie Clion is your average teenage girl with an odd affinity for baking. Unfortunately, her talented skills in wielding a mixer and a spatula have yet to stop her high school bullies from torturing her. She plans to spend most of her senior year hiding from them while hiding her bruises from her family. When she finds out that the girl who loves to torture her the most is dating one of the toughest boys in the grade, Maggie knows that this year she's going to be in for one hell of a ride.

Jacob, Carter, and Ben Calister are well known in the town for stirring up trouble. The three egotistical brothers do what they want because they know from history that with their good looks and well-known smirks, no one can deny them. When one of them befriends Maggie, a girl who is wrapped up in more secrets then they are, he decides to make her his senior year project. But with the Calister's reputation, none of them are going to gain her trust anytime soon.

With her protective sister back in town, three brothers who are determined to find out what she's hiding, and the bullying at school Maggie is starting to doubt whether or not she will make it out of this school year alive. Sweets aren't going to make this situation go away anytime soon.

Well, where there's a whisk, there's a way.
