100 years ago, when the world got out of World War III, the U.S.A, decided to create a new legal system. 50 girls, one from each state, would be sent to the capitol, where they would compete for the Prince's hand.

The Prince, who was long dead now -the grandfather to the new prince-, was the one who would be selecting his bride. And he would decide who would leave.

Vanessa Dove is low in the kingdom rankings. There are the Royals, Soldier's, Challengers, and then the lower ranks, consisting of; The Mayors and Mayor families or 5's, The Musicians and other Activities or 4's, The Shopkeepers or 3's, The Gardeners and Maids and Engineers and Housekeepers are 2's, and The low lifers and criminals are 1's.
