Rose had cancer.

She was on the verge of dying.
She was sick.
She was shattered.

But somehow she still had hope, because how a boy named Aiden made her feel.

~

I remember I used to think if you got cancer or some horrible disease that plagues your body you're lucky. I know, I know, I'm bad. Why would I think that? But I couldn't help myself, I mean they always got attention and everyone always felt bad for them. I don't know, but it seemed when you were sick everyone crowded around you, and, and they actually... cared.

Let me tell you, it's not like that. I mean it was in the beginning, but after awhile people just forget... They realize I can't go out anymore, I can't have fun, cause I'm stuck in the hospital, getting needles stuck in my skin, and lying down cause I cant stand up for to long.

I mean a few people stay, my family, and every once in awhile someone else... but Aiden, he was always there. Always. Him and his crooked smile, and thick eyebrows, and branny back, he was always there...
