Sequel to Lost Voice. I suggest reading the first book before this one. Hikaru has been messed with in the head- literally. His surgery went well but not the same can be said about his relationship with his boyfriend, Xacier. After the surgery, Hikaru feels like he's missing a part of himself and allows himself to overreact to simple situations. No matter what his boyfriend does, it's never enough. So, what do you do when you feel lost and missing? You cut all connections to loved ones and go on a journey. Then you pray that they'll take you back. MAN X MAN FUCK OFF IF YOU DONT LIKE jeez

A/N: This book is a sequel to 'Chains', if you haven't read Chains, you could find yourself confused about a lot of this story; I recommend reading Chains before reading Alpha, Not. *** Pete Danver, 29, is a former werewolf who is now human. His wolf abandoned him because of things he had done to their mate. He's lost his mate, his wolf and his pack and now he has to learn to live as a human without the abilities he is so accustomed to as a wolf and an Alpha. Left broken both mentally and physically from the losses, he's been taken in by the Full Moon pack led by Alpha Andrew, the head of the Werewolf Council. Can he pull himself back together and function as a normal human? Will he be able to accept everything he's done in the past and start a new life? --- Avery Brown is a 23 year old gay man who works at a small, family owned cafe/diner that has a good crowd of regular customers, especially the lunch crowd. He struggles with his self esteem due to a past filled with bullying to such an extent that all his friends had been driven away for fear for their own safety. Now his high school bullies have stumbled into his workplace and decided to pick up where they left off so many years ago. He's also met and begun dating the handsome, rugged individual named Pete Danver. Pete is an office worker on the same block as the diner. Pete's past may be too much for Avery to deal with as he's faced with choices he never dreamed he'd have to ever make. How did things become so complicated? What will he choose to do?
