When eighteen year old Sophillia Smith returns to California after five years of being away, she doesn't know what to expect. The time she had spent there was great up until she developed a hatred for her father. She arrives in the hopes that she will get through summer without having to really be social towards any of her old "friends" but when one of the boys from her past sees her, he can't quite figure out who she is and she hopes to keep it that way. Sophie doesn't want anyone bringing up her past...she had worked so hard to bury it in the hopes it would stay hidden and no one would discover or in this case, rediscover her secrets.
